CS 7. Remedial change. For a Tier 1 Iron Ore miner we designed and implemented the change to major projects, project controls system. For context, the scope was $30b [mine, road and rail], the requirement was for 5 Tier 1 suppliers to standardise data and information exchange that resulted in consistent, transparent governance and performance management. Functionally we addressed, contracting, contract administration, estimating, cost management, resource utilisations, risk and reporting [project, management accounting, and financial accounting]. The outcome was across the board productivity increase, significant waste removal and a new project operating model.
